LIVESTOCK CARTAGE We offer the benefits of our scale and experience with a nationwide service, utilising our sister companies in the South Island. As well as the ability to provide a single transporter option in the movement of stock in and out of farms, sale yards, and to meat works. We prioritise the humane treatment of animals and adhere to Animal Welfare legislation.

LOG CARTAGEOur specialised Logging Fleet can provide cartage from the East Coast through to the Lower North Island. Customers are kept up to date via our electronic Forest / Woodlot to Port processing system. Our logistics system provides accurate information to meet the industry requirements.

OUR STORY.

A series of collaborations and purchases over time, has allowed Farmers Transport to become one of New Zealand’s larger rural cartage companies and a recognised specialist in livestock transport. Today, we are a business that is well equipped to handle any rural cartage job. We operate a fleet of 90 trucks in key regions that can implement and manage movements across the whole of New Zealand.

We are a NAIT Accredited Information Provider, take care of the reporting requirements for moving stock between locations. As our Drivers RFID tags and  this information is passed on to NAIT.

In 2020, Ben Allen Transport amalgamated with Farmers Transport to become Farmers Transport Limited 2020. Nothing has changed, if anything, we can service a wider range of customers and areas. Our customers and community come first and they are why we come to work everyday.
