Welcome, Farmers Transport operates as a rural transport business from 8 locations throughout the North Island. The focus of the business is to provide the full range of transport services for the farming community and associated parties (which include meat processors, fruit and produce packhouse operators, wool buyers and fertiliser companies).
Farmers Transport provides a comprehensive livestock cartage service to clients throughout the North Island, and transports livestock to / from the South Island.
In addition to livestock cartage it specialises in the cartage of inputs onto the farm (fertiliser, silage and hay, metal for tracks) and produce (wool, grain, grapes, squash and horticultural / processing crops) off the farm.
The modern vehicle fleet is designed specifically to service the rural market and its diverse operating conditions.
Branch Operations staff at each of the 8 locations have an extensive knowledge of their area and local clientele. This local knowledge is of particular value in optimising the movement of vehicles and minimising transit time for livestock.
