Livestock Cartage:
 Farmers Transport carts sheep, goats, pigs, beef and dairy cattle. Customers include farmers, meat processors, livestock agents and importers / exporters of livestock.
The network of 8 branches allows farmers and agents to buy stock throughout the North Island (and South Island) confident in the knowledge that Farmers Transport can organise cartage to the purchasers property. Each of the 8 Branch Managers is responsible for meeting the local demands of their clientele including farm to farm, and farm to sale cartage.
Farmers Transport is involved in the cartage of livestock to most meat processors in the North Island. Its specialist livestock units meet the new crate certification standards required by the Meat Industry, and driving staff are regularly instructed in livestock and vehicle handling.
Dairy herd shifts have special requirements. Farmers Transport has proven expertise to manage these movements (including inter island). Regardless of the herd size Farmers Transport is confident in its ability to provide dairy farmers with the level of service which ensures their valuable stock arrive at the new destination in the best possible condition.
